Product Licence Terms

Every download contains a LICENSE.md with the full text. This page is the summary, written so that you know what you are buying before you pay. Where the two differ, the LICENSE.md inside the product governs.

1. Single-Organization Commercial Licence

Applies to every kit except the two below. The purchasing organization, and every employee in it, may use, customize, fill in, and deploy the templates inside that one organization, and share the completed documents with its own staff, auditors, assessors, customers, and regulators.

  • No redistribution of the blank templates or derivative works to anyone outside the organization.
  • Affiliates, subsidiaries, and clients each need their own licence.
  • No competing template products built from the contents, and no public posting.

Consultants who want to use a kit across clients should buy the Fractional CISO Engagement Kit, which carries the multi-client licence below, or write to [email protected] for a quote.

2. Multi-Client Consultant Licence

Applies to the Fractional CISO Engagement Kit. One named consultant, or one consulting firm of up to ten (10) people, may use, customize, and deliver the documents to an unlimited number of the firm's own client organizations, with or without the firm's branding.

  • The product itself, its blank templates, and substantial portions of them may not be sold or given to anyone who is not an active client, including through template marketplaces or membership sites.
  • Firms of more than ten people need a further licence per ten people.

3. Single-Organization Software Licence

Applies to the Voice AI Agent Deployment Kit. One business or organization may deploy, modify, and run the code in production for its own use, and create derivative works for internal use.

  • No redistribution or sublicensing of the source code or derivatives.
  • No multi-tenant use: the software may not be used to provide a hosted service to third parties.

4. Bundles

A bundle carries each included kit's own licence. The Enterprise Sales Ready and AI Startup Essentials bundles are single-organization throughout. The Full Compliance Library includes the Fractional CISO Engagement Kit under its multi-client licence and the Voice AI kit under its software licence.

5. Common terms

  • All intellectual property remains with Solas AI LLC.
  • The products are templates and reference material, not legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. Have qualified counsel review anything you adopt.
  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the product.
  • Fourteen-day refund for any reason, under the Refund Policy. A refund ends the licence.
